THE QUESTION BEHIND THE FINDING

An exposure finding is a starting point. Make it a useful one.

Credential exposure monitoring helps security and IT teams find account information appearing in indexed exposure records. The useful question is more specific than whether your company name appears in a collection: which owned service or work account matches, what evidence is available, and what should your team investigate?

Vuxep brings those questions into a private organization workspace. Verify domain ownership with a DNS TXT record, review the exposure dashboard, and search the records within your approved scope. Your team gets a consistent place to examine findings without opening access to unrelated organizations.

01 / FIND

Start with your domain. Follow the account.

Website scope and email scope stay distinct.

An exposed login for a company website and a company email appearing on another service answer different questions. Vuxep supports searches for website domains and their subdomains, exact hosts, email domains, and individual work emails. Choose the search that matches the investigation instead of treating every result as the same kind of exposure.

The organization dashboard provides an overview of affected hosts, accounts, and weekly indexing activity. From there, open the underlying results and inspect available records. Organization admins and viewers can search within verified scope; administrators manage the domains, team, and notification settings that define the workspace.

02 / UNDERSTAND

See why a finding deserves attention.

Clear reasons, with the evidence behind them.

Give your team concrete context by marking critical services and privileged work accounts in organization settings. Search results can explain when evidence matches those rules, when a credential was newly indexed, or when observed password reuse connects an account to multiple services. The reason remains visible alongside the finding.

These indicators support judgment rather than replacing it. Priority sorting currently applies to the loaded results page, and reuse signals reflect the available indexed evidence. A newly indexed record may describe an older exposure. Finding a password does not establish that it still works, and Vuxep does not attempt to sign in with it.

03 / SHARE

Bring the right information to your team.

Workspace detail. Redacted management reporting.

Configure grouped email notifications or connect Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, and signed webhooks. Target a verified domain broadly or define a more specific rule for a host, email, account, or URL. Notifications concern newly indexed matches after the rule is enabled; enabling monitoring does not email the entire historical index.

Use the workspace for deeper investigation and CSV export. For management conversations, create a branded PDF covering indexed exposure totals, affected hosts, priority signals, trends, and verified-domain coverage. These reports redact credentials and account identities, giving your team a way to discuss the evidence without circulating sensitive records.

SCOPE & INTERPRETATION

Coverage with boundaries you can explain.

Start by identifying the domains your organization controls and the colleagues who need access. We provision the workspace and first administrator, then your team verifies domains and configures its own members and destinations. Viewers can investigate, export, and read settings without changing them.

Monitoring reflects what has reached the index, not every possible leak. Collection availability, processing, and notification delivery affect when a finding becomes visible. Keep indexing dates separate from the date of an original compromise, and use the evidence alongside your own identity and security information. A walkthrough can help you evaluate that workflow against your organization’s needs.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
take a closer look.

Talk to our team

What does credential exposure monitoring show?

Vuxep shows indexed records matching your verified website or work-email scope, with account and service context. Dashboard statistics, search, employee profiles, priority signals, and notifications help your team interpret those observations.

Can we search a domain we do not own?

Organization access requires DNS verification of the domains you control. Searching, exports, profiles, and notifications are restricted to that verified scope. Adding a domain name alone does not unlock access.

Does a finding mean the account is currently compromised?

No. An indexed record is evidence of an observed credential, not proof that it remains valid or that someone recently used it. Your team should establish relevance with its own authorized security checks.

How do we get started?

Contact us for a walkthrough and an organization plan. We create your workspace and first administrator account. Your administrator can then add teammates, verify domains, and configure notifications.
